Just a quick word to say we went up to Table Mountain today, a full report summing up leaving Johannesburg and arriving in Cape Town will follow as we had an absolute blast, but what a place. Heavenly. First up, best dressed as they say – we were literally numbers 3,4 and 5 on the mountain at 8.30am. Walked for 4 hours and came down by cable car just after noon. Happy days. Been so maxed out since we travelled down from Johannesburg we literally have not stopped. Gulp.
Anyway, intending to get up and sort all that out with some remedial typing first thing tomorrow. That’s the plan anyway. Meanwhile, here is a picture of Kirsty and I atop Table Mountain, the rain has stopped, the wind dropped and the sun came out for us. Smile.
It was windy, but warm. What is not to like?
